What the work is like

Nobody moves to the Pilbara for the weather in February. The work is hot, it is dusty and the days are long. We say that up front, because people who arrive expecting something else leave in six weeks and everybody loses.

What we can promise is small crews, supervisors you will actually see on site, and plant that has been looked after. You will not spend your morning arguing with a machine that should have been serviced a month ago.

Roster, camp and pay

Most crews run even time, two weeks on and two off, with a bus or a drive in depending on where the job sits. Residential roles come up regularly and they go to town first.

Camp rooms are available to anyone who wants one, including residential staff working a long swing. Meals are covered while you are in camp.

On pay: we do not publish rates here, because they move with the role and the roster. Ask when you call and we will tell you the number for the job you are asking about. We do not open low and wait to be pushed.

Open roles

  • HD Fitter

    Newman, even time

    Field and workshop maintenance on our own excavators, trucks and graders. An HR licence helps, but time on large mining plant matters more to us.

  • Civil Supervisor

    East Pilbara sites, even time

    Running haul road, drainage and pad crews, with the program and the daily reports in your hands. You need to set out accurately and talk to a client without a manager in the room.

  • Excavator Operator

    East Pilbara sites, even time

    Machines from 20 to 90 tonne across civil and load and haul work. Trim experience is what we are short of, so tell us if you have it.

  • Site Administrator

    Newman, residential

    In the office in town, covering timesheets, inductions, purchase orders and the plant register. Suits someone who wants to be home each night.
